PMI Hudson Valley Chapter High_School_Cap__Gown

Hudson Valley PMI Chapter members have a chance to win up to $1000 award for eligible dependant graduating high school students. Award amount and finalists will be determined based on scholastic achievements (25%), community involvement and character (30%), recommendation letters (10%) and an essay (35%) on the value of Project Management.

Project Management is an approach applicable to all aspects of academic disciplines, in particular and life, in general. PMI is a non profit Organization established in 1969 to promote and cultivate Project Management into a profession that has been acknowledged and adopted by many large companies and governmental departments. The local Chapters are created to provide a forum for Project Managers (PM) or potential PMs to network, share best practices and promote the profession.

To be eligible for this Award, an applicant must:

Be a dependant of a PMI HVC member in good standing — Join Now!
Be a college-bound high school senior entering a two-year or four-year accredited educational institution.
Attend college for the first time in the fall of the year the application is filed.

Announcing the 2012 PMI Hudson Valley Chapter Board

We are pleased to announce the following board positions for the PMIHVC 2012 Board. The new incoming board positions have formally taken office on January 1, 2012.
